Getting to know me a little.
Hi, my name is Claire. I am an artist living and working in leafy Cheshire.
I have a passion for animals, and so combining my love of art and wildlife I specialise in pet and nature portraits.
I have always loved art, it has been a joy to me since I was small. I was never far away from a box of paints, or a pencil case brimming with coloured pencils.
I have a degree in Graphics from the University of Wales College Newport which I obtained in 1998.
My real passion though is for Pastels, pencils, paint and more hands on art.
Over the years I have done commissions for friends, family and others who have seen or heard of my work by word of mouth. I have also done a number of illustrated books for children's publications.
I am developing my art and style all the time and so this year of 2017 could be a very exciting one. Watch this space for new pieces of work.
